Our founder, Erika Dawkins, is a published writer with a lifelong passion for storytelling and a deep commitment to helping others bring their words to life. With advanced education in English and Creative Writing, Erika combines literary expertise with real-world experience to guide authors at every stage of the journey.
Before founding The Inkspire House, Erika owned DoubleSugar Books, a vibrant indie bookstore that celebrated diverse voices and emerging talent. She is also the founder of It's Only Write Communications (DBA Erika Dawkins Communications.)
Through her work as an editor, writing coach and communications professional, she has spent years helping writers shape stories that connect, inspire and endure.
